Background and Philosophy

Moore Engineering Company was founded in 1961 as a Professional Engineering firm specializing in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering for commercial, institutional and industrial projects. Our firm is dedicated to the application of the latest design methods consistent with sound engineering practice. We maintain a full staff of Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Designers, Draftsmen and other Technicians at our office in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

We are registered professionally in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, Delaware, Colorado and Georgia, but we have been involved in industrial projects in many other states and foreign countries as well, in instances where professional registration was not required for private projects.

Our services have been provided for churches, banks, municipal offices, educational buildings, retail centers, medical facilities, industrial buildings, corporate headquarters and elderly housing complexes, among others. Moore Engineering has provided Professional Engineering services for over 50 different school districts in Pennsylvania on over 900 projects, and has been extensively involved with both new and renovated facility projects for a number of colleges and universities.
